A big yes, yes, yes for M&S menswear
Marks & Spencer menswear makes a triumphant return to form with its new spring/summer collection.
Read more at fashion.telegraph.co.ukI can tell you exactly the last thing I bought, underwear and socks aside, from a Marks & Spencer men's department. It was a black pure-wool Crombie-style topcoat from the Sartorial range that is still giving me lots of wear a decade later. Not bad given that it set me back all of £60, I think, in the sale. Prior to that it was a slouchy caramel-coloured linen suit that cost £80 (if my memory serves me right), lasted years and was often mistaken for something much more expensive by Nicole Farhi. That was way back in 1994. Both purchases represented Marks & Spencer men's clothes at their very best: classic while making a gentle nod to the trends of the time, great quality, brilliant value.
